Season 2 finale

Checking challenge status

The Exception
Desk.

Eight parcels. Three scans each. One rule that changes which scan counts.

Build an n8n workflow that finds the right scans for your personal desk, then report the parcel count and total work units.

How it works

Reading and preparation are untimed. Your first personal data fetch starts the clock.

Season 2 finaleCloses Sunday, 1 November at 11:59 pm ISTPrepare first. Running the personal data request starts your timer.

A workflow, from start to finish

How it works

  1. 01

    Get your desk

Connect when you are ready. Your first data fetch gives you 24 scans, a personal desk and a selection rule.

  2. 02

    Build your workflow

Use native n8n nodes to select the scans and calculate two answers. Follow your own rule, not another person’s.

  3. 03

    Upload your result

Submit the two numbers and your exported workflow JSON. Correct eligible entries are accepted automatically.

The brief

Read everything here without connecting an account.

01 The task and your data

Eight parcels have three scans each. Latest means the largest scan_seq. Each person gets a stable personal desk, dataset and one of three selection rules. The order of choosing and filtering scans matters.

02 Workflow and submission rules

Build and explain your own workflow without AI assistance. Code, Function and Function Item nodes are not allowed, including disabled or disconnected nodes. Other native nodes and normal editor settings are supported.

Export your workflow as JSON. Remove participant keys, passwords and saved run data. Keep your username and the completed nodes. Uploads stay private and are never executed by the challenge.

Submit both answers, a short explanation and the workflow export. Eligible correct answers are accepted automatically. Integrity and reward review happens after the season.

03 Timing, retries and ranking

Reading, connecting and preparation are untimed. Your first personal data issue starts the timer. Your accepted final records the finish. Re-fetching data or retrying keeps your original start.

After a lost response, check your saved status before sending a new request. My result separates original duration, any incident credit and competition time.

Faster competition times rank higher. Exact times share rank. Weekly points are 15 for first, 12 for second or third and 11 for later ranks. Season 2 carries forward your existing C04, C05 and C06 points.
